People always ask "how long have you been doing this?" I've had a camera in my hand for as long as I can remember. Both my parents share my passion for photography, and I have many wonderful pictures from my childhood. Flipping through family albums, my camera seemed to be my favorite accessory. While my fashion sense has improved (slightly) my love of photography has remained the same. Now as a mother, I appreciate on a new level the importance of capturing childhood memories. Being a mom definitely affects the way I approach my business and my photography. I do not run a busy, full-time studio, nor do I have plans to do so in the near future. On a typical weekday afternoon you might find me playing with my son at the park or going to the zoo with friends. Because family is so important to me, I take a limited number of sessions each month. My priority is family, and I think that shows in my photography. I would describe my style as simple and focused on relationships. I love capturing images that tell a story, that portray the unique personality of my subject, the little details you won't want to forget, and the important connections in your family. How would others describe my style? Inspired, inspiring, and inspirational. Captivating, expressive, and stunning. Unique, timeless, and enchanting. Artistic, generous, and gifted. Breathtaking, treasured, and flawless. These are some of the words that have been used to describe me and my style of photography. Flattered, blessed, and humbled, Michelle |
